New Nike Manchester City home kit unveiled in Manhattan.
This is John the Groundsman at Fraser Park, I interviewed him for exhibition/zine. It was an honour to meet him and chat football. I don’t want to give to much away but probably one of my most enjoyable interviews ever. These are the people that make our game. John told me “I go to work everyday & I am on a football field, it doesn’t get better.” Word! #RESPECT #BPD
Take 20min and watch Paulo Di Canio preach gospel on his football culture philosophy. #honest #RESPECT

The first England kit by Nike is here, it is a simple yet classic jersey to pay homage to the great history of the 3 Lions.
The first to wear the new jersey was Jason Kelly from Jack Wilshire’s old school. Where his dreams of becoming an international began.
““This is where my dream of playing for England started and it’s great to be back here to see a new generation playing with the same passion,” Wilshere said. “I gave Jason the shirt because his commitment and work-rate really impressed me today, he showed that it’s what you do on the pitch that matters — from your first match as a nine year-old all the way up to the international stage.”
£9million net spent in 10 years and 16th consecutive year of Champions League. New stadium nearly paid off. In years to come people will talk about the epic managerial work of Arsene Wenger.. #wengerbuilttheemirates

Thanks Becks. Forget the hairstyles, the fashion and the brand. David Beckham was a great footballer. Never ever did he say he was the best, at times seemed in awe of his teamates, particularly the likes of Zidane & co. But he was the consummate professional. Hard work, dedication and passion are not traits we glorify in today’s society, but Becks epitomised them. You don’t play on the great teams in the world just to sell jerseys. Man United, Real Madrid and AC Milan are teams you don’t survive at if you can’t play. Not only did he survive, more importantly he left a winner. More medals than Usain Bolt. Championships with United, Madrid, LA and ending in Paris. A career kids kick a ball about dreaming of. What is wrong with “I want to play football?” Thats all Beckham wanted, I want to play for my country, I want to win things and I want to play for the biggest clubs and succeed. In todays ego driven sporting arena, Becks was an school English gentleman. One of the greatest ambassadors our game has seen. Merci Becks.
