I felt compelled to put pen to paper and write about JBurns: The Guv’nor. In a time when the football society detests divers and play acting, we have a player who epitomises everything that could be asked for in a modern day professional. But he is still criticised. A leader, a warrior, a role model and he can play.

THE NIKE CHANCE: The epic battle is over. 16 winners fought their way through the biggest challenge of their lives to earn a place on the ultimate football tour.

Early next year, the 16 Chance winners will train at Nike’s World HQ sports research lab in Oregon, play against Juventus in Turin, Manchester United in Manchester, the US Soccer Federation in LA and the final leg of the tour sees them play the Nike Academy in Loughborough.
